Responsible Person Course

Course Objective

To provide delegates with key information in order to ensure that water systems for which they are responsible are being managed, operated and maintained safely, effectively and in accordance with relevant statutes and guidance.

Who Should Attend?

The course is aimed at Responsible Persons, senior managers and other personnel whose responsibility is to ensure that engineered water systems are adequately managed and maintained. The course focuses on the key areas of management responsibility, including record keeping.

Those who oversee personnel who undertake the water hygiene tasks, and those who are responsible for keeping records of the water hygiene tasks. In addition, Duty Holders and those who instruct specialists to carry out legionella risk assessments and other tasks on their behalf would also greatly benefit from the course.
