Cooling Tower Operators

Course Objective

To provide delegates with key knowledge regarding the operation of different types of evaporative cooling systems. This includes details of safe water treatment and hygiene maintenance, monitoring and record keeping practices in order that compliance with relevant statutes and guidance can be demonstrated.

Who Should Attend?

The course is aimed at operators of evaporative cooling systems and those whose responsibility is to manage, supervise and/or carry out routine maintenance tasks as required in accordance with HSG274 part 1.  This course assumes previous knowledge of water systems and delegates should have attended Legionella Awareness training previously.

Those who undertake the weekly checks on cooling tower systems would also greatly benefit from the course.
